1. Cut the carrot to the length you want the leaf to be.
2. Cut a slice from the carrot about 5 mm thick.
3. Cut out a leaf shape from one side of the slice of carrot.
4. Cut out a leaf shape from the other side of the slice of carrot.
5. Down the middle scoop out two lines either side of the middle of the carrot slice. Start with the line about 5 mm apart then gradually make them meet near one end of the carrot.
6. From one of the lines cut out diamond shapes all the way along the line.
7. Do the same along the other line on the other side of the carrot.
