1. Cut a strip from the skin of the radish, about 1/3 of the way from one end of the radish, all the way round the radish.
2. Cut another strip from the radish, 1/3 of the way from the other end of the radish, all the way round the radish. You should now have two lines around the radish either side of the middle going all the way round.
3. Cut slices from the radish from end to end that are about 5 mm wide.
4. Continue cutting slices out of the radish from end to end moving round the radish to cut the next out.
