How to choose tomatoes for carving.

1. Cut a slice into the side of a tomato. Tomato Ladybird Picture 1
2. Cut further slices towards the middle of the tomato. Tomato Ladybird Picture 2
3. About a third of the way into the tomato cut off the end of the tomato completely. Udner the top cap of the slice cut out a wedge shape. Tomato Ladybird Picture 3
4. From the main part of the tomato cut off a slice. Tomato Ladybird Picture 4
5. Make a cut across the slice. Tomato Ladybird Picture 5
6. Cut a side of the slice free. Tomato Ladybird Picture 6
7. Cut the other side of the slice and remove the center piece. Tomato Ladybird Picture 7
8. Cut the sides from the slice all the way up to the top. Tomato Ladybird Picture 8
9. Place the two carved pieces of tomato together to get the finished carving. Tomato Ladybird Picture 9
