A Carrot Leaf
How to choose carrots for carving.
| 1. Cut the carrot to the length you want the leaf to be. |

| 2. Cut a slice from the carrot about 5 mm thick. |
|
| 3. Cut out a leaf shape from one side of the slice of carrot. |
|
| 4. Cut out a leaf shape from the other side of the slice of carrot. |
|
| 5. Down the middle scoop out two lines either side of the middle of the carrot slice. Start with the line about 5 mm apart then gradually make them meet near one end of the carrot. |

| 6. From one of the lines cut out diamond shapes all the way along the line. |
|
| 7. Do the same along the other line on the other side of the carrot. |

| 8. The finished carrot leaf. |
