A Carrot Pineapple
How to choose carrots for carving.
| 1. Peel a large carrot and cut it to about 8cm long. |
| 2. Cut a V shape into the carrot all the way round. |
| 3. Trim one end of the carrot so it is thicker in the middle and makes a basic pineapple shape at that end. |
| 4. Cut groves at an angle along the length of the pineapple shape all the way round. |
| 5. Cut another set of groves, angled the other way, all the way round to make a pineapple like pattern. |
| 6. Cut out a small bit of carrot from the middle of the all diamond shapes. |
| 7. Cut a trianglular wedge shape from the other part of the carrot which will be the gap between the pineapple's leaves. |
| 8. Cut wedges out all the way round until you are left with a set of leaves. Cut another set of wedges out below the set of leaves to make another set of leaves. |
| 9. Continue making as many set of leaves as possible and finally cut off the excess carrot. |
| 10. The finished carving. |
